PEFC Italia and Giorgio Caporaso for "Forests are Home"

The Foresta collection was designed and produced to support the international "Forests are home" campaign by PEFC Italia (the association that governs the forest certification system and of which Giorgio Caporaso is artistic director).

The collection exhibited at the Fabbrica del Vapore features a sustainable living room made from PEFC-certified wood, consisting of a chair/armchair (Foresta), a low table (Sottobosco), a dynamic coffee table (Stelo) that can also function as a stool, and a modular and sectional bookcase (Rami). This collection is further enriched by a new element in recycled cardboard and wood, a modular and sectional system (Moretto plus) with a cardboard body and blue wood finishes.
The Foresta collection featured a wall of recycled and recyclable cardboard, on which street artist Fabrizio Sarti, known as Seacreative, created an everyday artwork inspired by the themes of sustainable forest management and the ecosystem services provided by woods.
